New Partnership Announced between the Association of American Educators and the New Jersey Charter Schools Association

Alexandria, VA– The Association of American Educators (AAE) and the New Jersey Charter Schools Association (NJCSA) are pleased to announce a new partnership to support New Jersey's dedicated charter school teachers. AAE, the premier national, professional association for educators, will offer teachers and other employees of NJCSA member schools full AAE membership at a low monthly rate in an effort to advance professional development and advocacy opportunities for public charter school teachers.

"We are so pleased to partner with NJCSA to provide professional membership and benefits to the New Jersey's talented charter school educators," said AAE Executive Director Gary Beckner. "This partnership will allow both organizations to better support charter school teachers as professionals."

Through this partnership, teachers and support staff at NJCSA member schools are invited to join AAE for $15 per month. AAE members receive excellent professional benefits and services, including a $2 million liability insurance policy, as well as a united policy voice on supporting the charter school movement both statewide and nationally.

"Whether an educator works in a traditional, charter, virtual or parochial school, they need the peace of mind that comes with solid protection so that they can focus on students in the classroom," said Beckner. "As an advocate for educators, we firmly believe that no teacher should be without individual professional liability insurance. AAE provides this and much more at a fraction of the cost."

AAE's partnership with NJCSA is just the latest in a series of formal partnerships with charter school associations in both Utah and Indiana. Alongside unmatched professional benefits, AAE's services and vision for educators continues to resonate with the charter community nationwide.

NJCSA Chief Executive Officer Carlos Pérez praised the partnership, stating, "Our alignment with AAE allows us to expand our level of support for educators across New Jersey. We are thrilled to expand our network of resources for New Jersey's charter schools with this new program offering quality professional benefits to our individual educators."
