National Employee Freedom Week Wrap Up
Last week, AAE was pleased to join with over 80 partner organizations in more than 30 states across the nation to celebrate National Employee Freedom Week(NEFW), an annual grassroots campaign dedicated to promoting rights of association. This pro-teacher movement informs and empowers educators and other workers to make decisions that match their budget and beliefs. AAE highlighted the results of a coalition survey showcasing that nearly 30 percent of union members nationwide would opt out of union membership if they knew they could keep their job and not face penalties.
